Cold, marble halls and the distant entrance Watch as the eons pass regretfully by, Marching without even a backwards glance. An ancient, colonnaded shell, empty, Resting atop the great acropolis Guarding the Aegean world that birthed it. A reminder of past lives, of glories Long since forgotten. As the years shift, Only the memories of the past live, To echo and haunt with grave brevity - Seemingly asking the people to forgive. Rather than turn teary eyes to reality, The colonnade relives the distant past, Longing to return to the world at last.

Athena's Watchman

Cold, marble halls and hard, uncaring columns watching as the aeons pass by, without even a backwards glance. An ancient sentinel, an empty colonnaded shell, resting atop the acropolis to guard the Aegean world that gave it life and to remind the world of the days of glory long since forgotten. Perhaps as the years slide by, only the memory of what has been remains to echo and haunt the grave pillars as the reality below fades. Rather than turn teary eyes upon the present, it relives the past, longing to return. A remnant, a relic of the faded glory of the ancient world.

Three years later!

So I'm definitely still around. I don't really use this account for anything other than watching artists whom I love and admire, so I can sit and envy them their talent and use the inspiration to scribble my laughable doodles in my own dusty sketchbook. I swear, I haven't drawn in that thing in over a year. XD I can barely draw a decent looking horse anymore. There's just something about going to college, having a boyfriend, moving out and being legitimately own your own that is just such a muse murder. Maybe I'll start taking pictures of all my old sketches and upload them, whenever I get the chance. But yeah. This was a pointless entry. I

First Entry

Okay, so this is my first journal entry on dA. And it's also my first online journal entry in over a year (or close to...) Sorry that as of now I haven't submitted anything. I don't have regular access to a scanner, I don't have photoshop, OC, or a tablet. Just a pencil, a sketchbook and some colored pencils. So yeah, most of my submissions will most likely be either photos or things I have written. So until I get this fully up and running, enjoy the nothingness!! *runs away to find a suitable avatar*
